Cody Cuellar

Cody is a California native with a born passion for film and photography. Growing up in Minnesota he would spend his childhood in the darkroom, building lens adapters and making short films. At 17 he fabricated a steadicam in his metal shop class and built a state-of-the-art HD studio at the local public access cable facility.

In 2009, Cody landed a job at Prime Focus Hollywood and would later start his own indie post-production company, working on projects for Mercedes Benz, J.W. Marriott, Funny or Die, and artists such as Zedd, Chromeo, K. Michelle, and Dawn Richard. Between post-production jobs, he would continue his artistic passion DPing short films, music videos, and a feature. After being awarded three seasons of dailies for FX's tv show 'Wilfred', Cody joined Local 600 as a DIT and worked on films such as Warner Brothers 'Annabelle'. In 2015, Cody supervised the digital LAB for VFX studio Digital Sandbox, working under Academy Award Winning VFX supervisor Scott E. Anderson on projects such as 'Series of Unfortunate Events' and 'The Shallows'.

Cody joined the Roundabout team in 2017 where his range of expertise in the field gives him an invaluable edge in collaborating with the growing talent of Cinematographers and Directors, translating their vision to beautiful images on the big screen.
